Motosu Lake or ‘Motosuko’ is the most western of the Fuji Five Lakes and mostly undeveloped. Accommodation options are limited to a couple of campgrounds with most people heading there to enjoy camping and outdoor activities including fishing, wind surfing, water-skiing and more. The views of Mount Fuji from the lake can be truly spectacular however the lack of accommodation options, other attractions and distance from the nearest train stations means that other lakes including Kawaguchiko and Yamanakako are most popular for international visitors.
