By Train

Traveling from Takayama to Kanazawa by train involves a transfer in Toyama and is an excellent option for those using a Japan Rail Pass, as the entire route is covered. While this route isn’t direct, the scenic views along the Miyagawa river make it worth while.

- Toyama Station → Kanazawa Station (via Hokuriku Shinkansen)
