Lying around 2.5KM to the east of Nagoya Station – 5-minutes by train – Sakae Station and surrounding area including the Nishiki District, offer a large range of accommodation options including business and Western-style hotels. Options range from high-end to budget, with some economical options for travellers to save on the cost of their accommodation while remaining in the centre of the city. Within 25-minutes walk of Nagoya Castle and other nearby attractions, staying in the Sakae District is a good option though not quite as convenient as the Nagoya Station / Nakamura Area. Booking.com
