How far is the hotel from the ski slopes?
The Shinyu Chairlift, previously the closest lift to the hotel, has now permanently closed.
Guests can access the ski area through two main entrances:
Hikage Station (Ski Area) – It takes approximately 20 minutes on foot. Walking back after skiing can be quite steep and tiring, especially with gear.
Nagasaka Station (Main Ski Area) – guests can walk about 7 minutes downhill from the hotel to the Chuo Bus Terminal, then take the free Nozawa Onsen Shuttle Bus to Nagasaka Station, which is another major entrance to the ski slopes.
The hotel provides ski storage and drying facilities for guests’ equipment, but there is no direct shuttle bus access anymore from the property. (As of Oct 2025)
