As already reported, the Snow Monkey Park has now reopened to the public and we are happy to the report, the monkeys have now returned! After an unusually long absence from the park after the typhoon, the troop has reemerged from the forest and looks to be back to their usual routine. Repairs at the park are ongoing so please exercise caution when visiting as some soil is still unstable on the trail and in the park itself.
Our tours are operational and trains from Tokyo to Nagano are returning to normal. While it’s been a difficult week in Nagano, things are quickly getting back to normal and we’re looking forward to seeing you here soon.
