Sanada Treasures Museum
Once the rulers of Matsushiro and an important family in both regional and Japanese history, the Sanada clan are synonymous with the town and its samurai heritage. The large Sanada Treasures Museum houses numerous items once owned by the Sanada clan, in an insightful display of their wealth and the daily life of the samurai class.
Artefacts include ceramics, furniture, manuscripts weaponry and armour, including samurai suits worn by members of the Sanada clan.
