Accessible using the main gondola of Hakuba Goryu Snow Resort, the Hakuba Goryu Alpine Botanical Garden is located at an altitude of 1500 metres and boasts more than 300 varieties of alpine plants. The gondola takes around 10 minutes to ascend to 1515 metres above sea leve, where leisurely tracks lead visitors through the garden and more intensive hiking trails leading into the mountains including Mt. Kotomi.

The ‘ALPS 360’ restaurant is open daily, the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, snack or drink and take in the view of the surrounding mountains and valley beautiful. While the gondola ride only takes 10 minutes each way, make sure to allow at least 1.5 to 2 hours to enjoy your time in the alpine garden.
