The Limited Express Thunderbird operates from Osaka Station to Kanazawa Station, stopping at Kyoto, Fukui and other station enroute between those each terminus. On this page you will find the following information:
Running to and from Kanazawa Station, the Limited Express Thunderbird connects with the Hokuriku Shinkansen line running from Kanazawa to Tokyo. In doing so, it completes a northern route from Osaka and Kyoto to Tokyo that opens-up some of the best destinations in Central Japan. TIMETABLE FROM OSAKA TO KANAZAWA
Numerous services run from Osaka to Kanazawa each day. The earliest service departs Osaka Station at 06:30 followed by Shin-Osaka at 06:34, Kyoto at 06:59 before arriving at Kanazawa Station at 09:13.
The latest service departs Osaka Station at 20:54 followed by Shin-Osaka at 20:58, Kyoto at 21:21 before arriving at Kanazawa at 23:29.
TIMETABLE FROM KANAZAWA TO OSAKA
Numerous services run from Kanazawa to Osaka each day. The earliest service departs Kanazawa Station at 05:35 followed by Kyoto at 07:51, Shin-Osaka at 08:17 before arriving at Osaka Station at 08:22.
The latest service departs Kanazawa Station at 20:47 followed by Kyoto at 22:59 Shin-Osaka at 23:23 before arriving at Osaka Station at 23:28.

Running from Osaka Station to Kanazawa Station, the Limited Express Thunderbird stops at the following stations:
Kanazawa Station is the northern terminus however one service each day continues onto Wakuraonsen and includes the following stops after Kanazawa: Tsubata / Unoke / Takamatsu / Hakui / Yoshikawa / Nanao / Wakuraonsen.
