Located on an artificial island in Ise Bay, just 35 kilometers south of Nagoya City, Chubu Centrair International Airport (中部国際空港) serves as the sole international airport in Central Japan. Despite being the smallest among Japan's international airports, Chubu Centrair plays a critical role in connecting travelers to and from the Chubu region with destinations across Asia and beyond. Known for its cleanliness, efficiency, and blend of traditional culture with modern technology, the airport offers much more than just a place to catch a flight.

Arrivals are processed on the second floor, while departures occur on the third. The fourth floor features Sky Town, a popular shopping and dining area open to both travelers and the general public.
Sky Town itself is divided into two themed streets: Renga-dori, which features modern restaurants and shops, and Chochin-yokocho, a retro-styled shopping alley designed to reflect traditional Japanese aesthetics. Terminal 1 is also home to FLIGHT OF DREAMS, multiple premium lounges, the expansive Sky Deck, and the famous Sola Spa Onsen with views of the runway and Ise Bay.
Terminal 2: Low-Cost Carrier Terminal

- Supports both domestic and international budget airlines
- Simpler layout with separate gates (11 international, 9 domestic)
- Connected to Terminal 1 by shuttle bus
- Fewer services but efficient for quick departures

The terminal includes 11 gates for international flights and 9 for domestic flights, and it is connected to Terminal 1 via a complimentary shuttle bus.
Though it lacks the premium lounges and spa facilities found in Terminal 1, Terminal 2 still includes basic services like baggage scales, delivery counters, restrooms, and telework booths, making it functional and traveler-friendly for those seeking budget options.
