Exploring Southern Shinshu and the Kiso area has become easier than ever, even without your own car or rental vehicle!
The new Iida–Nakatsugawa Line is a regular sightseeing bus service connecting Iida Station, Tenryukyo Gorge, and Hirugami Onsen with the historic Nakasendo post town of Magome-juku and Nakatsugawa Station. The service is scheduled to operate for the next three years, making it easier for visitors to discover the region and its lesser-known attractions.
The bus operates twice daily, with one morning and one afternoon departure, and offers a flat fare of ¥1,500, regardless of your boarding or drop-off point.
Advance online reservations are required and must be made by the day before travel.
