Description

Begin your journey with a departure from Nagoya and travel into the mountains of southern Nagano. At Heavens Sonohara, you'll have three hours to enjoy skiing or snowboarding surrounded by beautiful winter scenery. The resort's beginner-friendly slopes make this a great introduction to winter sports in Japan, while more experienced visitors have the opportunity to simply enjoy a few hours on the snow.

After working up an appetite on the slopes, take a break for lunch at the resort's restaurant before continuing to the next part of your journey.

Prefer to unwind after your morning on the slopes? Choose Toki Yorimichi Onsen, a modern Japanese hot spring facility offering indoor and outdoor baths, saunas, and relaxation areas. Soak in the warm mineral-rich waters and let your muscles recover after an active morning in the mountains.

Please note: Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to enter the facility in accordance with the onsen's policy.

Unfortunately, guests with tattoos are not permitted to enter or use the facilities at Toki Yorimichi Onsen, in accordance with their policies. The onsen has a strict no-tattoo policy, and covering tattoos with stickers or other coverings is also not permitted.
