Description

The day begins at Nagano Station at 07:40, where your dedicated guide will meet you. After introductions, you’ll make a short walk to our equipment house conveniently located next to the station. Here, you can select everything you’ll need for a full day on the slopes — skis or snowboard, poles, boots, helmet, bindings, as well as clothing and accessories such as jackets, pants, goggles, and gloves. Once fully outfitted, you’ll step right outside to your private vehicle, load your gear, and relax as you set off toward the ski resort of your choice. Whether you prefer the world-class slopes of Hakuba, the powder-rich expanse of Shiga Kogen, the charm of Nozawa Onsen, or another resort in Nagano Prefecture, the destination is entirely up to you.

Upon arrival, your guide will assist with unloading your equipment, preparing lift passes, and giving you orientation to the resort. You’ll be pointed to the lifts, best spots for lunch, and beginner-friendly areas if needed. From this point, your day is yours to enjoy. Experienced skiers and snowboarders can head straight out onto the runs, while beginners who have booked a private lesson will check in at ski school at 10:00 for expert instruction from our licensed partners. By the time the lesson concludes at 12:00, new skiers will feel the confidence to explore gentle slopes at their own pace.

Throughout the day, your time on the mountain is flexible — ski, snowboard, take breaks at slope-side restaurants, or simply soak in the alpine atmosphere. Your guide will remain available by phone should you need assistance at any time. At 15:45, you’ll regroup at the designated meeting point to return equipment to the vehicle before departing at 16:00, and by this time many of the lifts will be closing up anyway!

My group is a mix of skiers and snowboarders. Is that okay?
Yes! That is perfectly fine, as we have both snowboard and ski equipment. At the time of booking, please let us know the appropriate details about each of your party member's required measurements and if they prefer skiing or snowboarding.
Can I make this tour into a multiple day ski tour with accommodation from Nagano City?
Yes! We can add accommodation in Nagano City and accommodate a multiple day ski tour package! To do so, contact us at anytime to discuss options.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible or suitable for mobility-impaired guests?
Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for mobility-impaired guests. The tour's main attraction is skiing, so unless a guest is able to move to the ability to participate in the tour fully, we would not recommend participation. Guests who are mobility-impaired may also struggle with the conditions. Should you have any concerns about your ability to join the tour, please contact us prior to booking to discuss options.
Can I do my ski lesson in a language other than English?
This is possible subject to availability with our ski school partners in the various resort areas. Some may have Chinese-speaking instructors, whereas others may have Spanish speaking instructors available. As it is not guaranteed, please let us know in advance if you wish to have a ski or snowboard lesson in another language.
