Located directly in front of the Prince Hotel West Wing in the Yakebitai ski fields of Shiga Kogen Ski Resort, the Yakebitaiyama Family Snow Park is open from mid-December until late-March. Offering a range of gear including snow bikes, sleds and tubes, the park is fenced-off from the surrounding ski run allowing families to enjoy the snow without interruption or needing to worry about skiers and snowboarders.

The park is open to the public with a reduced price for guests staying at any of the Shiga Kogen Prince Hotels. Situated in a beautiful area of the resort, the park is great fun for adults and children alike and directly accessible from the hotel and nearby restaurants. Yakebitaiyama is known for its reliable snow conditions including many days of great powder, making it a great area to base yourself when staying in Shiga Kogen.
