For most visitors, the final three stations of Mt. Fuji (Fujisan), Fujikyu-Highland and Kawaguchiko will be their intended destinations however the line also includes stops at the following:

*Please note, stations marked in bold / red on the map are stops on all services. Those not marked in bold are only serviced by certain services throughout the day.

A variety of services operate on the line including local trains – stopping at most if not all stations – along with the Limited Express Fuji Excursion – stopping at fewer stations including Mt. Fuji (Fujisan), Fujikyu-Highland and Kawaguchiko. It takes between 40 to 60 minutes (depending on which service you choose) to cover the journey from Otsuki Station to the final stop at Kawaguchiko Station. From/to Otsuki Station, expect the following journey times and costs:

— to Mt Fuji (Fujisan) / 35 to 55 minutes / JPY1040 to JPY1640*

— to Fujikyu-Highland / 40 to 60 minutes / JPY1100 to JPY1770

— to Kawaguchiko:  45 to 65 minutes / JPY1170 to JPY1770*

If there is a conveniently timed service, we recommend using the Limited Express Fuji Excursion. There are however many more local services operating each day, and given the time from Otsuki to Kawaguchiko is usually under an hour, utilising local services is just as easy and practical. Fujikyu Railway is a private line and is not covered by any Japan Rail (JR) Pass.

*Visitors heading to Mount Fuji, can disembark at either Mt Fuji Station or Kawaguchiko Station, with bus services running from both stations to the mountain.
