Nagoya is one of Japan’s largest cities with numerous accommodation options. The area immediately around and nearby Nagoya Station including the Nakamura Ward has many large hotels – ranging from high-end to budget – including inside the station. Large hotel franchises have a presence in the city with interesting options like Legoland Japan and its hotel, located around 30 minutes from Nagoya Station. Of course, Nagoya and the surrounding areas also have many traditional ‘ryokan’ to choose from. Often used as a transit point as travellers move from east, west and central Japan, Nagoya is worth visiting in its own right. To the east of the station, the Sakae Station / Nishiki Area also has a good range of accommodation with plenty of business and large hotels to choose from.
