Our 1-Day Snow Monkeys, Zenko-ji Temple & Sake Tour operates throughout the year, combining a morning visit to Nagano’s near-1400 year old Zenko-ji Temple with ‘sake’-tasting and lunch in Nagano City before heading to the Jigokudani Monkey Park for an early after visit. Operating to and from Nagano Station, the tour start and end times are coordinated with Shinkansen / ‘Bullet Train’ arrivals and departures making it easy to join from Tokyo and other cities as a day-trip. In winter, pick-up and drop-off is also extended to Hakuba allowing guests to enjoy a visit to the monkeys as part of their ski and snowboard adventure in Nagano.
