The impact of the coronavirus on daily life around the globe is now dramatic. We wish everyone well and please follow the advisories in your home countries and regions, to ensure your health and safety. For those still travelling in Japan along with foreign residents, the following website provides regularly updated information regarding coronavirus in Japan:

At this time, Nagano City has no confirmed cases of coronavirus with a total of 4 cases identified in Nagano Prefecture (as of Mar-25 2020). For visitors travelling to Nagano or considering whether to make the journey, we continue to operate our tours. The Snow Monkey Park remains open and most businesses including hotels, restaurants, and shops are operating as usual in Nagano City.

For guests booking with us in April and May, tours will have under 10 guests. Due to temporary closure of some restaurants, we may need to make alternative lunch plans for our tours. We continue to monitor the situation in Nagano and will provide further updates as required. As always, the safety of our guests and staff is our first consideration.

This is without doubt a troubling time placing significant stress on people. Please look after yourselves and remember to take pleasure in the beautiful things around us. As we move into late-March, Nagano really comes into its own with the unique sight of some cherry blossom trees blooming while snow continues to fall. A truly beautiful sight and a reassuring one that life goes on…

Should you have any concerns about booking a tour with us or travelling to Nagano, please feel free to contact us.
