The month of March has seen a rise in temperature. Some days really feel as though we’re in spring already. Other days though, it’s snowing and the monkeys are hiding from the cold in the pool or in branches as seen below:
These cold days are now not as frequent anymore compared to the previous months of winter. The monkeys are really relishing in the warmth, especially the younger ones. Now the trees are visible again you can see the young monkeys hanging on the branches, creating a swing for themselves. This has become a common scene in the Park.

So while the days of monkeys bathing in the hot spring are becoming less and less, the playfulness of the younger monkeys is at its peak now.
Having said that, there are still days with monkeys bathing in the onsen, as seen below!
