If you’re in Japan and are in need of some serious vocal exercise then a Karaoke place is where you need to be. Joysound is one of the karaoke places located in Nagano City. It’s close to the station and well affordable. There are many songs in many languages, so there will definitely be a song that you can sing along with. The device where you select your songs can be set to English, as well as a few other languages, from the main menu.

At Joysound they provide all you can drink (including alcoholic drinks) for 400 yen every 30 minutes. If you are there during “free time” (meaning you can stay for 30 minutes and up to 6 hours), the drink bar for the whole night will be 1500 yen. There are also plenty of foods and snacks to order, so you can keep on singing non-stop.
