SNOW MONKEY RESORTS INFO & GIFT SHOP

SNOW MONKEY RESORTS INFO & GIFT SHOP is a shop open to visitors from all over the world. English-speaking staff is there to provide information of the surrounding area including attractions, activities, restaurants, hot springs and hotels, so you can make the most out of your stay in Yudanaka.

 

There are many souvenirs available in the shop like original hand-knitted snow monkey key chains, photo frames and purses, original t-shirts, regional cakes and sweets.

 

The walk to the Monkey Park can be very wet and slippery and the temperature can drop below -10 Celsius in winter. To make your visit as comfortable as possible there are also snow boots, winter coats and ice cleats available for rental.

From Yudanaka Station:
Take the bus heading for either the Snow Monkey Park bus stop or the Kanbayashi Onsen bus stop. From there walk ten minutes to the Snow Monkey Park trail entrance. The Info & Gift Shop is right next to the trail entrance.
